On the 5th of December 2009 we hosted our annual concert. This year for the first time we built the concert around a theme and we chose Countries of the World, as there is such a variety of cultures around the world, and it was educational for the students to explore different styles of dance to what they were used to.
Apart from a few technical hitches backstage, we all had a ball with a very enthusiastic audience to enjoy dancing for.DVD’s and Photographs of the concert can be ordered in January, and Robin West has kindly given me some of them to post here.
Thank you to all the pupils who took part in ‘Travel the World Tonight.’ We hope that you had as much fun doing the show as we had putting it together. Thank you to all the parents for supporting your children in their dancing and supporting the show.Well done to the Trophy Winners. They were as follows for the most improved dancers:
