Here's to the Dance Dynamics Family

Behind almost every successful dancer are devoted, supportive Moms, Dads, Granny's and Grandpa,s who sacrifice to make their loved ones dancing dreams come true.

Your parents and family pay for all those classes that you love, and make sure that you are kitted out in all the right gear.  They are the ones that drive you to lessons and rehearsals, and often wait on the side lines while you get to dance.  They often give up weekend and family vacations, make adjustments to your costumes, and sew elastics and ribbons onto your shoes.  They also make sure never to miss one of your shows or performances.

Mom's the shoulder you cry on and Dad's your biggest fan.  It's a ton of work, and your commitment becomes theirs as well.

Here's a BIG THANK YOU for the support system that Dance Dynamics enjoys through the pupils and especially through the parents.  Without you guys supporting your kids, dancing would just fall by the wayside and fade away.

Modern and Hip Hop Exams - November 2009

On the 6th and 7th of November, we all had a blast with our modern and hip hop exams. Christelle Smit from George was the examiner for the two days and the girls all enjoyed performing for her.

Here are some pictures of the girls - some before and some after.  Unfortunately the downloaded images are a bit fat.  Congrats to all, as there was a 100% pass rate. 

Top Marks in the Studio went to the following girls for Modern:  Bianca Romer, Shani Smit, Taryn Fourie, Kelsey Hunter and Ashleigh Pereira.
And for Hip Hop:  Lisa Marie Botha, Izelle van der Westhuizen, Marne Botha and Jeanie Adendorff.

Dance Dynamics - Ballet Exams 2009

RAD Ballet Exams went off well this year. We were privileged to be able to use Robyn's Studio in Jeffrey's Bay, which made it easier, as the girls didn't have to travel through to Port Elizabeth.
Rene Callis was our examiner and we found her marking very fair. We had 100% Pass Rate, so well done to all the girls. We were particularly happy that the girls all got Merits or Distinctions and there were no passes.
